Microsoft wants to answer all the concerns of regulators regarding the purchase of Activision Blizzard. So during the last months it has closed important agreements related to the future of the games of the developer and the game in the cloud.
After reaching an agreement with companies such as Nintendo, Nvidia and Boosteroid, Microsoft has now announced a similar agreement with EE, a company focused on Internet and telephone services in the United Kingdom.

Microsoft takes another step to close the purchase of Activision Blizzard
Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, announced that they will collaborate with EE once the purchase of Activision Blizzard is finalized. To do this, they will bring Xbox games and Activision Blizzard titles to the clients of the communications company.
The relationship between EE and Microsoft is not really new, since they have previously collaborated. Thanks to this, EE customers can get Xbox Game Pass at a reduced cost by adding it to their mobile rate plan.
The big question is how this new agreement will work, since EE does not have a video game platform as such. So EE is likely to offer its users more benefits related to Xbox and its services.
“Microsoft and EE are extending their partnership with a 10-year cloud gaming commitment to bring PC games created by Activision Blizzard, post-acquisition, and Xbox to EE customers. We are committed to bringing more games to more people no matter how they choose to play,” Spencer said.
Marc Allera, CEO of EE, said they share Microsoft’s vision of bringing more games to more players. The manager pointed out that they will continue to provide quality services so that their users can enjoy their favorite video games.
Microsoft and @EE are expanding our partnership with a 10-year commitment in cloud gaming to bring PC games built by Activision Blizzard, following the acquisition, and Xbox to @EE customers. We are committed to bring more games to more people, however they choose to play.

It’s all part of @EE’s ambition to be the no.1 destination for gamers and the most personal, customer-focused brand in the UK.
We’re providing an unbeatable network for gaming, offering the best 5G and fibre connectivity with the best partners, products and great value services.
