Doctor Strange is considered one of the most important heroes in the entire Marvel Universe, as he has even become a god in Marvel Comics. This hero also has played pivotal roles in several of Marvel’s stories, both in the comics and in the UCM.
Despite the fact that Strange is known for his great wit and good will, Marvel has made it clear to fans that the hero has not always acted completely intelligently.
Recently, Marvel has officially confirmed that Doctor Strange didn’t use his wits very well this time at the UCM. Next, we will tell you all the details about it.
Doctor Strange was very dumb at this point in the MCU
At this point in the MCU, Doctor Strange was pretty dumb, and Marvel has let us see why.
The event in question in which Strange has not been entirely intelligent is nothing more and nothing less than in the movie Spider-Man: No Way Home. It is well known that the hero has a crucial role in this story, along with Marvel’s spider hero; however, Marvel has recently let us see that his actions and decisions were quite foolish.
On April 4 of this year 2023, Sony Pictures Entertainment released the official trailer for its next production of Spider-Man, titulada Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Versean animated film, starring Miles Morales, that will show fans how the young hero meets a lot more “Spider-People” than in the prequel.
At a certain point in the trailer, Miguel O’Hara, Spider-Man 2099, is introduced, saying the phrase “Doctor Strange and the little nerd of Earth 199999”, while explaining why they shouldn’t join the “Spider-Society”, which is the multiversal club of Spider-People. hearing that phrase it is inevitable to think of Doctor Strange and Peter Parker from the UCM.
As surprising as it may seem, Miguel O’Hara apparently references these heroes, and it is likely that his rejection of Peter Parker (Earth-199999) is seen directly influenced by the great chaos caused by Doctor Strange’s spell in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Although it was believed that the multiverses of the UCM and Into the Spider-Verse were not connected to each other, the trailer for the next production starring Miles Morales has let us see that apparently there is a correlation in these two iterations of Marvel.
It would be somewhat surprising if Marvel decided to somehow intertwine the multiverses of the Spider-Verse in future productions.
It is likely that the next production, Across the Spider-Verse, will let us see if Strange’s spell caused repercussions in this universe, also showing us if Miguel O’Hara and the Spider-Society implemented rules or measures in order to protect themselves and the multiverse, due to the actions of the Sorcerer Supreme.
With this movie, Marvel could explain a great mystery of Strange and the multiverse, due to the fact that a mystery has been revealed. interconnectivity between the multiverses from the UCM, those from Into the Spider-Verse, and the next ones that we can see in Across the Spider-Verse.
Despite the fact that this trailer has let us see that the fact that Strange performed the spell in Spider-Man: No Way Home was not the best decision of all, it will be quite interesting to see how Marvel decides to intertwine these two interesting worlds related to the spider-hero, either in Across the Spider-Verse or in the future.
