Israel responds to enemies, Gaza Strip and Lebanon under attack
It is the beginning of an escalation. Israel has bombed southern Lebanon in three terrorist sites of the Islamist movement Hamas and with ten rockets direct to the Gaza Strip. In full response Palestinian militias in the Gaza Strip fired 44 rockets.
The news was released by the Jerusalem Post. However, the attack was clumsily launched: the army in fact reported that nine were launched badly, 12 hit the Mediterranean Sea and “only” 23 crossed Israeli territory. Specifically: 14 landed in uninhabited areas, while Israeli defense systems managed to intercept eight of them and only one actually hit a house in the community of Sderot without injuring anyone. All residents in the area have been ordered to stay in shelters.
