SuaraSumedang.id – Coach of the U22 Indonesian National Team, Indra Sjafri summoned 36 players for training camp (TC) ahead of the 2023 SEA Games.
The training camp for the U22 football national team in preparation for the 2023 SEA Games starts on Saturday (1/4/2023).
The plan, this training camp will last until the departure of the Garuda squad until next April.
“God willing, we will start the U22 team’s training camp tomorrow in Jakarta. We have summoned players who play regularly in League 1. In addition, PSSI has prepared international and local trials ahead of going to the upcoming 2023 SEA Games,” said Indra Sjafri.

As is known, the 2023 SEA Games will officially take place in Cambodia and will take place from 5 to 17 May.
This March, Indra Sjafri also conducted a training camp as well as selecting two batches of 51 players consisting of League 1, 2 and 3 players.
“Even so, there are still promotions and relegations for the composition of these 36 players,” said Indra Sjafri.
“But still based on the list of 50 players that we have registered with NOC Indonesia,” he added.
To train the U22 team, Indra Sjafri was accompanied by Bima Sakti’s assistant coach, Eko Purjianto, Kurniawan Dwi Yulianto. Then, physical trainer Alex Aldha and goalkeeping coach Sahari Gultom and Yeyen Tumena.

The target set for the Indonesian U22 team at the 2023 SEA Games is to win gold.
The football branch will start first on April 29, 2023.
