Here’s how Pecco tackled the Sprint
After obtaining the third place in qualifying on the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit, which therefore guarantees him the important start from the front row, Francis Bagnaia yesterday he obtained sixth place at the end of the Sprint race, which was held over 12 laps. The official Ducati rider was the author of great duels and overtaking in the leading group, especially towards the end with Alex Marquez, losing fifth position to the Spaniard. The Piedmontese said: “Sixth place is a good result and I’m happy. Unlike my rivals, who pushed very hard throughout the race, I didn’t feel at 100% and therefore I decided not to take unnecessary risks. I had some problems at the beginning to avoid the confusion after departure. In any case, I had a lot of fun: it was a race full of overtaking and good battles”.
Sunday forecast
Today we’re back on track and after the ten-minute warm-up that will take place in the Italian afternoon, the Argentine Grand Prix will take place in the evening. The values will change considering that over the long run you need more strategy and you also need to make the tires work well, and Pecco declared: “In view of the race we already know where we need to improve. It will be important to manage the situation well during the 25 laps that await us, so the GP will certainly be very different from the Sprint Race”.
Here are the TV times of the Argentine Grand Prix.
