Depok.suara.com – Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, was included in the 2024 Presidential Candidates market. His name even outperformed several party figures such as Democratic Party Chairperson Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono and PDI-P Chairperson Puan Maharani.
Judging from the Surakarta News YouTube channel, Gibran responded casually to the survey. He admits that he has not thought about running for president.
“Just relax, it’s just a survey,” he said at the Solo City Hall, Monday (10/4).
Gibran admitted that he wanted to focus on improving the city of Solo until the end of his term of office. His attitude is also related to the age requirement for a presidential candidate, namely 40 years.

“It can’t be a presidential candidate,” replied the 35-year-old man.
Gibran admitted that he did not know why he was included in the LSI version of the 2024 presidential election. However, he hopes that the next presidential candidate must pay attention to all aspects.
“Everything is a concern, corruption, football, development, infrastructure,” he said.
Previously, a survey conducted by the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI) for the period March 31-March 4 2023, placed the Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Raka, in sixth place.
In the survey, a presidential election was simulated if it were held now. There are 19 names proposed as president.

From the survey results, the name Ganjar Pranowo was the most chosen, namely 19.8%, followed by Prabowo Subianto who was chosen second with 19.3%.
Meanwhile, Anies Baswedan was in third place with 18.4%, followed by Ridwan Kamil with 5.8%. Then Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno with 2.9%, only in sixth place was the name Gibran Rakabuming Raka who was chosen as much as 2.7%
Gibran’s position outperformed a number of other big names such as Mahfud MD by 2.3%, Erick Thohir by 2.1%, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono by 2.0%, and also Puan Maharani by 1.4%.
