The CEO of Bologna: “The new Dall’Ara could be an example. This is an important possibility for our stadiums, which are among the oldest in Europe”
Claudio Fenucci, CEO of Joey Saputo’s Bologna, applauds Italy’s bid for Euro 2032 and his team, eighth in the standings and ready to face Milan. “The candidacy is a strong opportunity for all of Italian football and not just for Bologna. In addition to the idea of hosting an international tournament – Fenucci told Rai3 on Tgr Emilia Romagna – there is above all a possibility for our stadiums, because they are among the oldest in Europe. In the last ten years, on a continental level, more than 170 plants have been built, many with the model that we followed in Bologna: a partnership between the public and private sectors. The new Dall’Ara? The program remains fixed by the terms of the law and by the progress of the procedure that we are carrying out with the Municipality. The phase linked to the Services Conference should be completed by June, both for the new stadium and for the temporary one. By the end of the year, the tender to win the works should take place”.
