The motorcycle season is upon us and to have fun, within limits and in safety, driving courses are one of the best choices. Here’s what the IMF is proposing
April 5, 2023
The Italian Motorcycle Federation offers a very interesting opportunity to all members, especially for those who intend to improve your motorcycle riding technique to get the most out of it and increase safety. All being followed by a team of instructors from the working group dedicated even to the formation of the Carabinieri.
A possibility that will materialize starting from May thanks to the new Safe Driving Courses on the Road and On-Off. Organized by the Technical Sector, they will have as their logistic base the Federal Technical Center of Misano. The participants they will be actively involved in the theoretical sessions in the classroom while, during practice, they will receive instructions and advice relating to their technique. To make learning days even more enjoyable they will absolutely not be missing the convivial moments between the students, to share the great passion for motorcycling.
Structured over two days, the objective of each appointment is to provide the motorcyclist with greater awareness of his own means and an analysis of the surrounding environment. Each course is open to a maximum of 21 students and FMI strongly advises to participate only after acquiring driving experience, albeit minimal.

Giovanni Copioli, IMF President: “We are proud to launch this new initiative dedicated to all our Members. We will offer both road courses, the environment most frequented by motorcyclists, and on-off courses because this type of activity has grown a lot in recent years. The theoretical and practical contents proposed by the FMI Technical Sector are of a high level and, above all, are updated and constantly evolving. Furthermore, the Federal Technical Centre, increasingly operational and functional, is the ideal logistic base. We strongly believe in this project and we expect wide participation in the eight appointments with the aim of proposing, in the future, an increasingly busy calendar”.
