FLORIDA – An airplane carrying the former President United States of America (AS) Donald Trump fly from Florida airport to New York City on Monday (3/4/2023). Trump is preparing to face charges stemming from an investigation into bribes paid to a porn star in the 2016 election.
As Reuters reported, Trump’s arrival to New York made the city take safety precautions. The mayor of New York has told any potential troublemakers that action will be taken.
Trump will turn himself in at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office on Tuesday (4/4/2023) and will likely be fingerprinted before appearing before a judge for charges where he will plead not guilty.
Trump, a Republican seeking to regain the presidency by 2024, is the first former US president to face criminal charges. To strengthen his legal team, Trump hired Todd Blanche, a prominent white-collar criminal attorney and former Federal Attorney.
Blanche previously represented Paul Manafort, Trump’s 2016 campaign chairman, when Manafort was indicted on New York state fraud charges after being sentenced to prison for a federal crime.
The state charges were eventually dropped and Trump pardoned Manafort before he left office. Blanche previously represented Igor Fruman, who is an associate of former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.
The specific allegations in Trump’s grand jury indictment have not been disclosed. Trump himself says he is innocent. He and his allies described the accusations as politically motivated.
A convoy of several vehicles took Trump from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach to the airport near West Palm Beach. Trump exited the SUV before he and members of his entourage climbed the steps to board his plane, painted red, white and blue with “TRUMP” in large letters on the side and an image of the American flag on the side. tail.
