During the afternoon of this Monday, Blizzard confirmed that its next big release, Diablo IV ‘went Gold’, announcing in this way that the title has already finished its development stage and the company considers the game to be ready for release on June 6 without any delays, good news for gamers who are fans of the Diablo franchise.
With just over a month to go until the game’s launch on June 6, 2023, Diablo IV has officially reached “Gold” status! The highly anticipated game is the fourth installment in the genre-defining series and brings the dark world of Sanctuary to players once again.
“Achieving the ‘Gold’ rank is a historic milestone for the incredible Diablo IV team, who have worked extremely hard to create the next generation installment of this iconic franchise. This is a concrete and significant step towards our launch on June 6.”, mentions the general manager of Diablo, Rod Fergusson on the Blizzard news site. On the other hand, since Twitter announced the arrival at the ‘Gold’ rank, to warn users that they should not wait beyond the announced date.
Diablo IV had already pushed back its release date from 2022 to 2023, but the company decided to bet on leaving June 6 of this year as the final release date. Now that they announced the ‘Gold’ rank, a category that video games get when they are ready for release, Blizzard confirmed a fixed release for this date without further delays.
Achieving this category at a time when game lags are becoming common, as was the case with the Suicide Squad game, is an achievement for Blizzard, who after two betas have worked hard to fix all the major issues and bugs that could affect players for its official release. Now, all that remains is to wait until the first week of June to enjoy Diablo IV.
