Seen for the first time ad Eicma 2022, Davinci is a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer that has been working in China for about two years to produce motorcycles powered by a high-performance electric motor. During the Milan show, the Davincis made headlines because of theirs very particular design, characterized by taut lines and flat shapes.
Underneath the fairing is a large 17.7 kWh battery which acts as a stressed element and collaborates with the motorcycle frame. Thanks to the quick recharge it is possible to “fill up” in just 30 minutes, provided that you can find a suitable column. The engine is a unit from 100 kW (135 CV) able to bring the bike from 0-100 in just three seconds, with a maximum speed of 200 km/h and a declared autonomy of 400 km.
To support these performances a respectable chassis: at the front we find a sturdy fork with upside down stems and a twin 330mm discs with Brembo Stylema M4 calipers. At the rear, on the other hand, we find a robust single-sided swingarm in which the transmission and a single disc are integrated.
The electronic equipment is also modern, which includes reverse gearhill start assist, descent assist, cornering traction control with charging system, combined braking (there is in fact only one lever) supervised by ABS cornering.
most important innovation, What sets Davinci apart from all other manufacturers is about the instrumentation: there is no display or speedometer, but everything is controlled by the phone which fits into a support with wireless charging and acts as a real instrument, allowing you to view the driving parameters and vehicle ignition.
