However, with Street Fighter 6 it is different, since the representative director of Capcom, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, announced this week that the company expects to sell 10 million copies of the game in its entire life cycle.
You may think that the figure is extremely high, but the manager said that Street Fighter V has sold a total of 7 million units in its life cycle, so following the estimates, the goal is within reach, especially since the game is very attractive as it will offer a better esports scene and broaden the fighting genre in general.

All Capcom games will have cross-play from now on
The current generation consoles, in addition to being characterized by 4K gaming, will go down in history as the ones that also popularized cross-play, especially in fighting titles.
In this regard, Tsujimoto mentioned in an interview with Famitsu (via ryokutya2089) that to improve his experience with this functionality, he took advantage of the multiplayer shooter and dinosaur game Exoprimal and that this feature will be something that will not be missing in future Capcom multiplayer projects.
“We plan to add crossplay support for future titles, so the development of Exoprimal is also aimed at accumulating knowledge for that purpose,” said the manager.
