Bad Bunny has become one of the most representative figures of Latin America in the world. “Benito” was presented at the Coachella festival in the United States, which is one of the most prestigious in the world.
However, at the end of his presentation, Bad Bunny released a message that caused controversy.
In about more than 2 hours, Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio performed 25 of his musical singles, including “Tití me pregunta”, “Efecto”, “Te boté”, “El apagón”, “Safaera”, “Yonaguni”, “Shut up” and “I behave pretty”. When closing the concert, Bad Bunny launched a message that earned him dozens of criticisms.
Amid applause and shouting, a message appeared on the stage screen reading “Benito could do As It Was, but Harry could never do The Blackout.” The message was alluding to the former member of One Direction, who in 2022 released his single “As It Was” as part of the album Harry’s House. The track achieved worldwide success and has accumulated 487 million views on YouTube.

Harry Styles is one of the favorite singers of the moment, so Bad Bunny’s message caused the discontent of users on social networks.
“Like, why would Harry Styles be interested in doing ‘Blackout’?”, “Just imagining Bunny singing As It Was makes me laugh”, “Who? It’s obvious that Harry is much superior and especially if he’s talented and sings live, byeee”, “Benito could never do As It Was because his English is terrible to begin with,” netizens responded.
