The Succession series is one of the great successes of HBO Max and there is an event that is being commented on by fans and the actors who have intervened.
Attention SPOILERS. Succession has taken a shocking turn, as we learned in the third episode of season four that Logan Roy (Brian Cox) had died off camera. This caught the fans off guard, but also the actors who did not know what was going to happen.
Now Jeremy Strong, who plays Kendall Roy, has reacted in a recent interview with Variety.
“It went through my heart, not my mind. What I mean is that it happened, it didn’t go through my mind as much as I found it heartbreaking to read and experience when we were doing it.”
“Like the fans, I was shocked by the suddenness of this, by its banality in the ordinary of the way these things play out, the inability to somehow make the moment what you want to be. The suddenness of these things, and the irrevocability of these kinds of things that happen. The fact of death, the fact of them, and now we have to deal with that pain and that loss in the middle of, you know, a pit full of snakes.” Said the Succession actor.

This is how the actors found out that there was such an important death.
Alan Ruck, who plays Connor Roy, told THR:
“I don’t remember Jesse saying it was going to happen on Connor’s wedding day… But of course Jesse Armstrong tipped off Brian Cox first in a private meeting. He then he gathered the rest of us on Zoom and told us what was going to happen. So we found out that Logan was going to die in the third episode before we started filming the season. I think that was when we really started shooting, and I was talking to my wardrobe, a wonderful guy named Danny Mura, because on a movie set, the wardrobe knows everything: they know which characters are going to be discontinued and who has the most work on them. depending on how many clothes you need to buy (Laughter) They usually know! So I said: When do I get married? And he said: I think it’s in three.
