7pm | Cyclist and motorcyclist injured after collision in Hardenberg
A cyclist and a motorcyclist were involved in a collision on the Scholtensdijk in Hardenberg at the beginning of the evening. Both people were injured and taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
The bicycle and motorcycle sustained significant damage in the collision.

3 p.m. | Search in Enschede after theft from home
The police have started a major search in Enschede after a report of theft/fraud at a house on the Assinklanden in Enschede.
Via Burgernet, the police report that they are looking for a man with black hair, brown eyes, tinted skin and a large build. The man is wearing sunglasses and jeans and is smartly dressed, according to the police.
The Burgernet report has now been closed, but the police continue to search. Anyone with information is asked to call 112.

1:55 pm | Hiker takes baby fox out of water
The Dierenambulance Zwolle, together with a walker near Windesheim, rescued a young fox from the cold water. The animal has now been taken care of at animal shelter Flappus in Zwolle.
The report of an animal in distress came in yesterday afternoon from a woman. She was walking her dog along the water’s edge when the dog’s attention was suddenly drawn to something interesting in the water. That turned out to be a small fluffy fox of a few weeks old. The woman took the animal out of the water and called for help from the Animal Ambulance. The employee who came to the scene rubbed the fox dry with towels and took it to the shelter to then let it warm up in the incubator.

After a time in the incubator and recovering from the shock, the fox was transferred to Flappus for further care.
1:35 pm | Firearm and narcotics found in Deventer home
Narcotics and a weapon were found in a house in Deventer this afternoon. The house was searched after a man was found on the street with a stolen bicycle. After an initial search, the house on Willem Kloosstraat is now being examined more extensively.
A police spokesperson could not say whether the man has been arrested. That had not yet been incorporated into the systems. It is also not yet clear what kind of weapon and how many narcotics were found in the man’s home.

1:20 pm | Traffic jam after accident on A28 near Staphorst
An accident happened on the A28 between Meppel and Staphorst this afternoon. As a result, there was a queue. Several cars were involved in the accident. It is unknown how much. It is also not clear whether there were any injuries.

11:40 am | Explosion destroys delivery van on driveway in Enschede
This morning an explosion destroyed a delivery van at the Burgemeester Stroinkstraat in Enschede. The van is completely destroyed and part of the car is hanging high in a tree, a hundred meters away. Firefighters are working on site to extinguish the fire.

The owner of the van had previously parked his vehicle with a local resident to deliver lamps, but it turned out that the resident had not ordered anything. The driver then parked his van in another driveway. There was a huge bang heard. Local residents went to investigate and ended up at the damaged van. They then sounded the alarm.

A person is checked for injuries by paramedics. It is not clear whether this concerns the driver. The cause of the explosion is unknown. The police are investigating that.
