ZTE has announced the presentation of its first smart glasses of augmented reality of the brand with the name Nubia Neovision Glass that arrive at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 that is currently being held in the city of Barcelona.
The company previously already shared an image that revealed the design of the nubia Neovision Glass and said that it is a “perfect combination of fashion and technology”. The company also said that the smart glasses will offer an “ultimate audiovisual experience” with high-quality vision and excellent sound (Hi-Res Audio Quality certified).
“They allow the connection of a wide range of devices, such as mobile phones, tablets, laptops, game consoles (XBOX, PS5, Switch) or drones. They are plug-and-play, and can be used without any additional operation, while the Phones without a DP port can be connected and used through a standard projection box,” they explain.
In addition to the Nubia Neovision Glass, ZTE has also launched its new tablet, ZTE Nubia Pad 3D, which has 5G technologies and 3D effects, as well as its new WiFi router. On the other hand, the company also plans to introduce the upgraded “1+2+N” full-scenario smart ecology 2.0, which aims to build multi-screen interconnection and multi-terminal intercom.
The Nubia Neovision Glass debut at MWC 2023
The Nubia Neovision Glass have a 120-inch virtual screen and a Micro OLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080supports 0-500 degree myopic adjustment and 1,800 nits peak brightness with a 43 degree field of view.
On the other hand, and as they explain, “they come equipped with dual omnidirectional speakers with a sampling frequency of more than 44.1 kHz and a bit depth of more than 16 bits, which achieve lossless sound quality that promises a more immersive experience with better sound effects”.
With a totally modern look, these new glasses confirm that they are comfortable and portable and adopt a streamlined rimless design with a weight of only 79g.
As mentioned, the company expects to be able seamlessly combine everyday life, office, sports and entertainment in one device to give users a whole new way to work and play.
ZTE’s AR device will feature a multi-layer lens display screen that will allow users to view content without obstructing their line of sight. It also seems likely that the glasses will work without having to be connected to an external device and may even support wired and wireless connections.
