Il Challenge will be split into two classes: the TC-Pro, reserved for more experienced pilots who will follow the standard race route and navigate with a paper road book, with classification extrapolated from the G1000 category of the CIMR; the class TC-GPX for non-professional pilots, for whom a specific route and navigation with the GPX track on electronic devices has been designed. The classification, in this case, will be extrapolated from the GPX category of the CIMR.
Members will be able to take advantage of the official Yamaha organization, which will follow them step by step, up to assistance on the competition fields, the welcome point, the dedicated paddock area, the shop and the awards. A format aimed at the pilots of the Ténéré Challenge to ensure that every need is satisfied.
The Yamaha Official Teamwith the color holder Alessandro Botturiwhich will be accompanied by Niccolo Pietribiasi, winner of the last edition. They will do the honors for the new entry Angelo Tazzaria young bLU cRU rider who distinguished himself in the world of Motorally thanks to the Ténéré Challenge with which he started competing for the first time and this year he will wear the Yamaha colors in the GPX class.
The Team, in addition to aiming straight for victory, will be next to the participants to support them with suggestions, advice or simply to share their passion and profound experience in competitions.
All members must have the FMI agonistic license which can be requested from an FMI affiliated motorcycle club or through the Ténéré Challenge secretariat. The permitted licenses are: Off-road vehicle, Elite off-road vehicle, One event off-road vehicle, Off-road extension of the speed license. Elite licensed pilots will only be able to register in the TC-Pro Class.
Each appointment will consist of two or three races, but it will also be possible to participate in just one day. To register for the Ténéré Challenge, the registration form, available here, must be downloaded and completed. The completed form will be sent to the organizing secretariat, attaching a photocopy of your IMF card.
Entries for the Italian Motorally Championship races will be closed approximately 8 days before the race.
