The mid-range shines for its panel and battery
At the design level, both terminals share a line with the Pro models. Quite elegant lines and striking colors for these Redmi Note 12. Its panel is 6.67 inches, with AMOLED technology, 120 Hz refresh rate and a maximum peak of brightness up to 1,200 nits. Definitely, one of the strongest points of both phones is the screen, at least on paper.
The big difference between both models is in the processor. Both have Qualcomm hearts, but the Redmi Note 12 5G arrives with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 5G. It is a processor halfway between the input range and the mid-range, accompanied by configurations of up to 6 + 128 GB.
In the case of the Redmi Note 12 in its 4G version, the chosen platform is the Qualcomm Snadragon 695, although in this case the maximum version is 4 + 128 GB, quite fair in RAM memory for these times.
The photographic system is identical, with a triple camera of 48 + 8 + 2 megapixels. The only difference is the selfie, with a little more resolution in the case of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G: 16 megapixels instead of 13 megapixels.
At the software level, both arrive with Android 12 and MIUI 14, a rather bittersweet taste to know that these two mid-range arrive out of date, when they should have been born with Android 13.
