Sometimes, the dream of our life can be shattered in just a few days, and we have already seen many examples of people who win the lottery but then do not find the winning ticket or people who buy a supercar and crash it a few days later. .
And the latter has exactly happened to a young Scotsman who recently won a Lamborghini Hurricane valued at €200,000 after investing less than €30 in a slotand went from the best moment of his life to one of the saddest.
This story has happened to Grant Burnett24 years old, who managed to win a Lamborghini Huracán thanks to the Click Competitions raffle firm and a few weeks later had an accident, and it was not due to excessive speed.
During the award ceremony, Burnett was given the chance to ditch the Lamborghini and pocket €120,000 in cash, a sum that could have bought another, less flashy but perhaps more durable car.
He stayed with the Lamborghini Huracán, and a few weeks later he crashed the vehicle, destroying it almost completely.
And it is that days after winning the prize, a series of images appeared on social networks, where the vehicle could be seen with some blows to the rear.
However, hours later, new images appeared showing the front of the Lamborghini totally destroyed, and since there is no mercy on social networks, many users mocked Burnett for having destroyed such a valuable prize in such a short time.
Grant Burnett did not take criticism well at all
Burnett came out a little sore from the accident, but without major complications, and did not hesitate to respond in a bad way to those who had mocked the accident: “fuck everyone who is sharing the photo of the Lamborghini, and trying to say that It was my fault”.
“I was not at fault for the crash because a cow hit me in the back of the car causing me to lose control. I show you a photo to prove it to all these jealous rats”, in reference to the users who were mocking, collects the dailymail.
The Click Competitions company has been operating since mid-2020 holding raffles with prizes that include cash or luxury cars.
Perhaps the moral of this story is that it is much more profitable to keep the money than with a striking material item that can quickly lose all its value.
