Dragon Ball Z is, without a doubt, one of the most popular and important anime in history, so it is not surprising that it has a lot of video games behind it. Among a sea of mediocre and decent proposals, the Budokai Tenkaichi saga stood out and knew how to conquer the hearts of thousands of fans. Now, it will return soon and the community already has its first wish: that there be Latin dubbing.
It is no secret to anyone that social networks exploded when Bandai Namco announced this weekend that the fighting franchise will return with a new installment. Fans of the original trilogy expressed their excitement and took advantage of the revelation to share their memories.

Of course, there was also room for requests. The Latin American community expressed on Twitter and forums that they would like Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi to be the first video game in the franchise to include Latin dubbing. Unsurprisingly, they request that original actors like Mario Castañeda, Eduardo Garza, Rene García, Luis Manuel Ávila, Carlos Segundo, and more be involved in the project.
In fact, some fans have already launched a campaign on Change.org hoping that Latin audio will reach the action game inspired by the popular Toei Animation anime.

At the time of writing these lines, none of the voice actors or Bandai Namco have spoken on this issue. Thus, it is unknown if the video game will reach our region with a translation into Latin Spanish, both in text and voices. We’ll have to wait to find out.
Details about the new Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi are scarce. The release date and the number of playable characters are unknown. Judging by the first teaser, it will be the first installment in the saga to cover the events of Dragon Ball Super, the new series that debuted in 2015.
But tell us, do you think that the Latin dubbing will be possible? Let us read you in the comments.
