Georginio Wijnaldum has scored his first goal for AS Roma. The Dutch midfielder did that on Sunday in the injury time of the second half of the home game against Sassuolo. The goal did not help AS Roma: 3-4.
Roma is renting Wijnaldum from Paris Saint-Germain this season and has an option to buy the former player of Feyenoord and PSV. Wijnaldum, who is part of the provisional selection of the Dutch national team, participated in the entire match against Sassuolo. Right back Rick Karsdorp came in after the break.
AS Roma is fifth in Serie A with twelve rounds to go.
