Elianne is admitted to hospital at the end of February with ‘unbearable pain’ in her chest. She appears to have an abscess of about seven centimeters in size and has to undergo surgery. She said on Instagram at the time that the recovery is much harder than she expected.
Thomas’s wife is just recovering from everything when she is suddenly admitted to hospital again this week. Elianne is not feeling well and another abscess is found on her. This one is even deeper than the previous one. She needs emergency surgery. “And then start from scratch with recovery, wound care and building up,” she writes on Instagram.
Today, however, she has good news: she shares a selfie from the hospital and writes that she is ‘super blessed’. “I can go home today.”
