Ranchero Azul’s celebrated composer and singer-songwriter, Vivir Quintana, shares her new single “Te Mereces Un Amor,” accompanied by a lyric video, released through Universal Music Mexico.
It is the second single from his new album and a continuation of the renowned “Song Without Fear” seen from the perspective of the love that everyone deserves and how we can use it to combat violence.
“For me, the song is a letter to all my friends and all women and dissidents of all ages, to tell them that love pierces us and that love is not synonymous with violence.. It is also a farewell letter for a great love that you know deserves to be happy even without you,” shares Live. This month, Vivir was also featured on the cover of Equal Mexico on Spotify.

Who is Living Quintana?
Vivir is considered one of the most powerful voices in Latin America and is the creator of “Canción Sin Miedo”, piece that has been covered and translated around the world addressing the fight against femicide. Belonging to the second generation from the Composition workshop of the Society of Authors and Composers of Mexico and won the Éxito SACM 2021 award for best independent song.
She was named by Forbes as one of the 100 most creative people in Mexico. He has composed music for films in films such as “La Boda de la Abuela”, “Noche de Fuego” -film considered the most awarded in 2021-, “Amalia en el Otoño” -Spanish production-, “Las Tres Muertes de Marisela Escobedo” -Ariel Award for Best Documentary Feature Film- and narrated the short film “Somos Fuego”, released in 2021.
In 2022, he contributed to the soundtrack of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” with the original song “Árboles Bajo el Mar” in conjunction with Mare Warning and signed with Universal Music México/GTS Talent.
