Purchase a general subscription for the Vive Latino 2023 in the first phase of sale it had an extra cost of 378 pesos, compared to the 2022 edition of the festival (1,990 pesos).
In other words, the 2023 edition of Vive Latino, with respect to the general subscription, had a cost of two thousand 368 pesos, which represents an increase of 19 percent.
On the other hand, according to the National Consumer Price Index (INCP) 2022, in the area of recreation and culture a percentage variation of 5.73 was registered percent in the increase in the price of this type of product.
However, in the case of Vive Latino, the increase was almost four times what was registered by the INCP registering an increase of 19% and not 5.73% as in other similar products.
It should be noted that the INCP’s recreation and culture category includes concerts and festivals.
How many days of minimum wage is the equivalent of attending Vive Latino 2023?
According to the National Minimum Wage Commission, the general minimum wage is 207.44 pesos per day. While in the North Border Free Zone it is 312.41 pesos.
Therefore, to buy a general subscription in the first phase, the disbursement would be equivalent to 11.4 minimum wagesand 7.5 days if the minimum wage is earned in the Northern Border Free Zone.
Finally, if the reference of the minimum wage is appropriate to phase 4 of the purchase of the least expensive tickets for the event, that is, general area, whose cost is three thousand 800 pesosthe time in minimum wages, practically doubles.
On the other hand, the increase in the minimum wage had an increase of 20% in both salary zones, compared to the figure established in 2022, as well as the increase in the cost of accessing not only recreation and culture, but also other goods such as a basic food basket.
