The manager of Assomusica died in the night at San Martino
March 14, 2023
During the night the president of Assomusica passed away Vincenzo Spera, founder and director of DuemilaGrandiEventi.
He was hit by a scooter as he crossed the street on Tuesday evening in Corso Magenta in the Castelletto district of Genoa. Spera, 69, had been president of the National Association of Producers and Organizers of Live Music Shows, Assomusica, since 2011. He was a member of the Agis board and a member of the Ministry of Culture’s Consulta dello Spettacolo.
Mayor Bucci recalls Spera: “Tragic news broke our sleep last night: the death of Vincenzo Spera. A man of entertainment, music, art. A true manager who knew how to establish himself in his world by enhancing the city where he spent most of his life and whom he loved and supported in many ways in his various prestigious positions, including internationally. It is no coincidence that he was appointed Ambassador of Genoa in the world. If Genoa has hosted concerts by great artists over the years, it is above all due to his tenacity, ability and dedication. He has always collaborated with the city, ready to lend a hand when it was useful to the cause and always able to provide important advice which, inevitably, will be missed”.
