Victor plays “Calixto Peralta”, an egotistical man, who lives at the expense of his wife “Camila” (Gabriela Platas), and the money he receives from the “Torrenegro”. It helps “Ramsés” (Guillermo García Cantú) to close contracts for his illegal businesses. “Calixto” will begin to be unfaithful through some internet applications, and that is where he meets “Lola García” (Ana Tena), an ambitious young woman who will only use him as a stepping stone to shine in society. She will be his downfall in every way.
“He is a character who acts a bit visceral, very obsessed and interested who does not give a damn as long as he reaches his goals. He marries a woman he doesn’t love because she has a social and economic position, he lives in a house where he is not happy, he is put down by his mother-in-law, but he endures the stick because he wants the position. And he is engaged in a human trafficking business that makes him a deplorable and worst person. In this business he meets ‘Lola’ who makes him lose his mind, he somehow falls in love with her and ends up facing the whole world for her”.
Although “Calixto” is a villain, nothing is served on a silver platter and he will have to make sacrifices to get where he wants, “he is a worker, but he is a smoothie, he looks like a fool in front of his father-in-law and he treats ‘Camila very badly ‘. Within his villainy, he will show that he can also feel something “, in this case with” Lola “.
Regarding the learning that he has obtained by giving life to the antagonistic characters, it has allowed him to identify the evil that exists in the street, “In the case of ‘Calixto’ it is to clarify the situations that we are experiencing such as human trafficking and personify It is people like this to learn and educate my son in a decent way and alert him, as well as my friends, and my nieces and everyone, that this type of people exists.”
Regarding the technical work of the production, Víctor also applauds the quality and manufacturing of it, he highlights that Juan Osorio is betting on making fewer scenes a day, but with better angles, framing and backgrounds to give the public what it deserves.
