Episode 7 Act II of VALUING is available from today March 7, and features numerous new features, including the introduction of the 22nd agent, Gekko. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Gekko is the newest Demoman in VALORANT leading a tight-knit crew of rambunctious creatures. His friends break into hostile territory, scattering the enemies on their way, with Gekko at their heels, ready to recover them and start over.
Ability:
EQUIP Dizzy. Use the FIRE button to send Dizzy flying forward. After a little preparation, Dizzy fires plasma jets at enemies in his line of sight. Enemies struck by his plasma are blinded. When Dizzy’s power runs out, he returns as a sleeping globule. INTERACT with the globule to collect it, gaining another charge of Dizzy after a short cooldown.
EQUIP Wingman. Use the FIRE button to send Wingman scouting ahead for enemies. As soon as Wingman sees an enemy, he unleashes a stunning blast at them. Use ALTERNATIVE FIRE while targeting a Deployment Point or the placed Spike to order Wingman to defuse or place the Spike. To place the Spike, Gekko must have it in his inventory. When Wingman’s power runs out, he returns as a sleeping globule. INTERACT with the globule to collect it, gaining another charge of Wingman after a short cooldown.
EQUIP Mosh. Use the FIRE button to throw Mosh like a grenade. Use ALTERNATIVE FIRE to throw him from below. Upon impact, Mosh duplicates covering a large area and explodes after a few moments.
EQUIP Thrash. Press the FIRE button to connect to Thrash’s mind and drive it into enemy territory. ACTIVATE to leap forward and explode, blocking enemies within a small area. When Thrash’s power runs out, he returns as a sleeping globule. INTERACT with the globule to collect it, gaining another charge of Thrash after a short cooldown. Thrash can only be retrieved once.

“Regarding Gekko’s game design, the intention was to pay homage to the team’s designers who were my inspiration by adding a new twist to previous designs that had never been used. It was exciting to bring back to life some of the things that, when I was working in QA, I was eager to test, but adding what we learned from the players over time. Everything I know I learned from these colleagues and I hope they are just as excited to see their old creations come to life!”
With Episode 6 Act 2 is also on the way the new iteration of Oni, expansion of the skin line released in 2020, heavily inspired by the ancient Japanese samurai culture and mythology. Players will be able to enjoy new looks for numerous weapons including Vandal, Bulldog, Ares e Frenzyplus a new one Oni Katana, la Onimaru Kunitsuna.
