The recent Valheim Of Iron Gatereleased on Microsoft platforms Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S e Game Pass, after the initial debut in early access on Steam, could come to other consoles. While the team says there are currently no plans for a potential PlayStation or Nintendo Switch launch, the survival sandbox title appears to be a time exclusive.
In a recent email from Microsoft, found by Twisted Voxel and verified by GameSpot, celebrating the addition of the game to Game Pass, it comes out that the Xbox console exclusivity “will extend for a limited period of six months“. That obviously doesn’t mean that other platforms will get it immediately after the exclusivity period ends or that it’s actually really an Xbox timed exclusive. However, there is however the remote possibility that the title will be published after some time at the end of the time exclusivity. Below is a brief description of the title via Steam:
Valheim is an exploration game set in a huge fantasy world inspired by Norse mythology and Viking culture. The adventure begins in the relatively quiet center of Valheim. The further away from the center you go, the more challenging the world becomes, but you will also find more valuable materials to craft more powerful weapons and stronger armor.
