Twitch streamer Atrioc, who has over 300,000 followers on the streaming platform at the time of writing, has publicly apologized for watching explicit deepfakes of other streamers.
As Dexerto reports, a clip briefly showing Atrioc’s browser tabs, in which a fake website can be seen, began circulating online. The website reportedly sells explicit deepfake videos and images of popular female Twitch streamers such as Maya Higa and Pokimane.
Responding to the situation, Atrioc appeared on the stream to apologize, saying that “this whole category of stuff is wrong” and “there’s no excuse for it.”
“This is so embarrassing,” Atrioc said. He explained that he had become very interested in AI and deepfake technology, such as the art of AI.
This story was how I found out that I’m on this website. I literally choose to pass up millions by not going into sex work and some random cheeto encrusted porn addict solicits my body without my consent instead. Don’t know whether to cry, break stuff or laugh at this point. https://t.co/voNoxRyVBd

He also claimed that it was not a “behavior pattern”, and that he had only looked at it once. She said that she could show the receipt to prove that she bought access to the site the same day the clip was made.
“There is no excuse for it. I am not defending it in any way, I think this whole category of things is wrong,” she said.
