In Tarreo we have mentioned many times the strange measures that Twitch has taken regarding the behavior of different streamers, being quite permissive with some and somewhat strict with others for no apparent reason. Something that has once again been exposed with what happened to a Fortnite streamer and popular TikToker from nick Chica, who received the news that Twitch removed one of its emoticons, a cartoon of a chick with big wet eyes and its tongue sticking out, for consider it a prohibited content that incites abuse.
The measure was reported by Chica herself, who said that the platform issued a notice informing about the removal of her “chicaL” emoticon from Twitch. The reason for removal is because it is disallowed content that incites abuse and contains targeted insults, harassment, and threats.

Chica posted a screenshot of the notice on Twitter, showing her surprise and disbelief at the situation, which surely occurred because the emoticon represents the letter L, which is also a gesture used in the United States to say “loser” ( Loser) to someone. This has been commented on by other streamers who said that “chicaL” was removed not because Twitch is a tyrant, but because “they are removing emotes with single letters because people would use them to write bad things”, according to the content creator. Natarsha, adding that “they also took away my F emoticon.”
Theory that was confirmed by other streamers such as dakotaz who indicated that Twitch removed a similar emoticon called “wolfL”, being something similar to what happened to the virtual streamer GirlyBella who said: “they took my W, L, F”.
