Tintin imagination e Microids have unveiled the first trailer and some new images for thevideogame adaptation by Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh. Apparently, it is an investigative adventure in which we will take on the role of the mythical reporter developed by the Spanish studio Pendulo Studios. Here is the trailer:
Inspired by an iconic adventure from the historic comic series “The Adventures of Tintin” created by the artist Hergé, which has sold over 275 million copies worldwidethis new video game marks the return of the famous reporter to the world of interactive entertainment thanks to a dynamic co-production between Tintinimaginatio and Microids.
In the game, after meeting Doctor Cyclone during a cruise in the Mediterranean Sea, Tintin and his faithful companion Milù set off in search of the tomb of the pharaoh Kih-Oskh. What are the dark secrets hidden in the tomb? From Egypt to India, via Arabia, Tintin & Milù will end up investigating a gigantic drug trafficking network throughout the East.
With all facets of the Tintin universe and a story full of twists and turns that are part of Hergé’s great creative legacy, Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh will immerse the player in the heart of a mysterious Egypt and other lands of infinite beauty.
Combining various elements of adventure and detective games, Tintin Reporter – Cigars of the Pharaoh will allow you to dress up as an investigator/reporter: search, infiltrate to find clues and solve puzzles with the help of investigative dialogues enriched by video sequences, infiltration phases, air or car chases, just to name a few possibilities provided by the game.
