Muhammad Ayaan Haroon, 5, of Sheffield, died in early March after years of battling for his health. Doctors had to pull the plug on him. And it is here that the parents decide to report, despite the excruciating pain for the loss of their son.
His father Rashid told the British media that he was forced to say goodbye to his son while the doctors were laughing in the same room of the hospital where he was being treated. Only a thin curtain separates the family from the doctors and nurses.
The little one exhaled his last breath and the medical team who had treated him up to that moment, laughed. The leaders of the hospital have now ensured that they will investigate thoroughly to verify what is claimed by the Haroon family.
