Suzuki’s Sport Enduro Tourer is now available in the Japanese manufacturer’s dealerships in three colors. Here is the price

Presented at EICMA 2022, the Suzuki V-Strom 800DE it had been fed to us journalists for the press launch in Sardinia in mid-February: during our test, Hamamatsu’s Sport Enduro Tourer showed excellent dynamic qualities both on asphalt and off-road.
Now the 800DE arrives at Suzuki dealershipsadding to the range the other 2023 novelties such as the V-Strom 1050 MY23 e V-Strom 650 Explorerwithout forgetting the other bike which is built on the same platform, the GSX-8S which we can’t wait to try.
the engine is the new 776 cc parallel twin, with 270° crank mechanism and the patented system Suzuki Cross Balancer, born to reduce vibrations. The maximum power and torque are in the order of 84.3 CV by 78 Nm, while the average distance is 22.7 km/litre according to WMTC standards. The tank has a capacity of 20 liters for a range of over 450 km. Electronics has evolved and foresees the known Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) which integrates the three power maps, the bidirectional quickshifter, the Low RPM Assist system, the traction control (can be deactivated and with the specific mode Gravel, which is added to the standard three to allow some rear wheel slip under acceleration). Also present is the ABS with two operating logics and the possibility of being excluded on the rear wheel.
The chassis rests on a pair of spoked wheels: the front one is from 21 inches and mounts a 90/90 tyre, while the rear one is 17 inches, with 150/70 rubber. The original equipment tires are the Trailmax Mixtour, which Dunlop has developed exclusively for Suzuki. The suspension features fully adjustable Hitachi Astemo (Showa) units and the rear monoshock has a remote preload knob, forseat height from the ground of 835 mm. The lighting system completes the equipment Full LEDthe hand guards, the protective grille for the radiator, a plastic bulkhead to protect the engine and the multifunction display TFT LCD a colori.
Price and colors
The Suzuki V-Strom 800DE is sold at 11.500 euro f.c. Three colors are available: Yellow Petrain homage to the DR-Zs used in desert races and the multiple victorious Suzuki motocross bikes, with gold-spoked rims shared with the livery in Black Dubaiwhich turn black for coloring Berlin grey.
The V-Strom 800DE can be reserved from the official dealer or online through the Suzuki website and the Smart Buy system. In this case, the customer can opt for the chosen motorbike from anywhere by paying a small deposit and then going to the dealership to sign the contract.
