The arrival of The Last of Us Part 1 on PC is not being as idyllic as many thought. The great game from Naughty Dog is not offering the expected performance, and beyond a small optimization problem, what is actually happening is that dozens of graphic errors are annoying the experience of a ten-star game. And there are some pretty hilarious ones.

The port of the PlayStation game is making water everywhere, and for an example nothing better than this. And it is that in one of the scenes of the game, we can see how Ellie’s model begins to sweat / overflow water everywhere as if she were submerged in a pool. The mistake is wildly comical, and as she will understand, it completely breaks the climax of the moment.

It is possibly one of the funniest graphic errors, since the situation is getting worse by the minute with more and more water.
In any case, it is not one of the most common. The most repeated errors are related to the shaders, since the game does not correctly load many of the textures and polygons to display. Two fairly obvious examples are this faded Joel with fat marker-painted eyebrows:

Another of the errors that has been repeated a lot among users is this moment of Tess’s tremors, where the character appears frozen and with sporadic movements, completely bugged.

Although if there is something particularly annoying that prevents you from playing, it is the psychedelic graphics:

But let’s not fool ourselves. The port problem is in the work of Iron Galaxy, the company in charge of completing the PC version. From what we have seen, it seems that they have not arrived on time with a 100% functional version, and now they must be working hard to solve all possible problems.
With this in mind, what we can’t forget is that The Last of Us is an incredible game, and perhaps downvoting it on Steam is not the most sensible thing to do. That is what is happening in the famous store, where hundreds of players are peppering the launch of the game with negative votes.

As expected, at Naughty Dog they have come out to show their faces, and have confirmed that they are aware of the many problems that the game is giving, to which they have promised to work immediately to find a solution as soon as possible. Let’s hope so, but it’s hard to understand how many of the great relaunches are offering problems of this type, and it is that without going any further, the remastered GTA trilogy was an absolute scandal in terms of errors and bugs.
