There is very good news for fans of The Ninja Turtles, as a new game has just been confirmed that will be based on one of the best comics in the franchise. We are referring to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin, a 2020 graphic novel that left fans of the series very happy.
According to the details, it will be an action game with RPG touches and will be inspired by God of War, the iconic PlayStation and Santa Monica franchise. It will recover the dark tone of the graphic novel and will tell the story of the only turtle that survived the Foot Clan.

Doug Rosen, Paramount Global’s senior vice president of games and emerging media, revealed to Polygon the existence of this project, which is still years away. For now, the studio that is in charge of the title or the platforms on which it can be enjoyed have not been revealed.
The manager only stated that they work with the right partner to adapt the atmosphere and action of The Last Ronin to a high-quality AAA game. Likewise, he anticipated that they are already thinking about other possible video games in the saga and that in the coming months there will be more information about it.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin will let us control only one of the charismatic turtles. This is because in the graphic novel the other companions of him and Splinter were annihilated.
To keep things mysterious, the comic features the surviving turtle wearing a black mask. In addition, he can fight with all the weapons of his companions. In the end, it is revealed who this mysterious hero is, but we won’t tell you so as not to spoil the surprise for you.
