Prime Video today unveiled a new trailer for the highly anticipated spy action thriller Citadel. The first season consists of six episodes, with the first two premiering exclusively on Prime Video on Friday, April 28, and a new installment every Friday through May 26. Produced by AGBO, the Russo brothers, and David Weil, showrunner of the series, this groundbreaking series stars Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, alongside Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville. Citadel will be available in more than 240 countries and territories around the world only on Prime Video.

About the series
It’s been 8 years since the fall of the Citadel. The independent global spy agency, tasked with ensuring everyone’s safety, was destroyed by agents of Manticore, a powerful syndicate that manipulates the world from the shadows. After the fall of the Citadel, elite agents Mason Kane (Richard Madden) and Nadia Sinh (Priyanka Chopra Jonas) try to escape with their lives, but lose all their memories. Since then, they have remained in hiding, building new lives with new identities, unaware of their past.
Until one night, Mason is tracked down by his old Citadel colleague Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), who desperately needs his help to stop Manticore from establishing a new world order. Mason searches for his old partner, Nadia, and the two spies embark on a mission that takes them across the globe in an effort to stop Manticore, all while grappling with a relationship built on secrets, lies, and a dangerous love. and at the same time eternal.

Citadel is the debut of a global franchise. Citadel and its successor series, all produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO, span the globe with interconnected stories. Each Citadel series will be created, produced and shot in one region, and starring top talent, forming a distinct global franchise. Successive series are currently shooting in Italy and India, starring Matilda De Angelis, and Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu respectively.
