Blizzard Entertainment is no stranger to chaotic releases, and it seems Diablo IV hasn’t broken the trend. We say this since the highly anticipated Beta of the game ended up being a nightmare for some. Fortunately, Blizzard is already preparing a fix to mitigate the issues.
The Diablo IV Beta debuted last Friday as early access for bookkeepers and those who got access codes with other promotions. The hype for the game is huge, so a lot of players tried to play Diablo IV before its release.

While the excitement around the game is good news for Blizzard Entertainment, it’s less than good news for their servers. We say this since they lacked the ability to let in all the players who wanted to try Diablo IV. This resulted in long lines to enter the role-playing video game, some of which lasted several hours. There are also some who report disconnections which are really frustrating.

Blizzard Entertainment is already working on fixing the problems of Diablo IV
Fortunately, Blizzard Entertainment has not been left with its arms crossed. Since Friday they got to work to make the necessary adjustments that allow more people to access the game.
With the above, Blizzard Entertainment expects the rest of the Beta, as well as the Open Beta next weekend, to run smoothly. Let’s hope that it is so that people can enjoy the long-awaited video game.
“The team is working on some issues behind the scenes that have been affecting players and causing them to be disconnected from the servers. We are currently monitoring the number of players entering the game until we fix the disconnection issues. This is done so that we can ensure stability between players coming into the game after the queue process. If you are in the queue, we ask that you stay in the queue to ensure that the timer is not reset. For the Open Beta next weekend we plan to have more accurate queue countdowns.
We are actively working on these issues for this weekend. Once resolved, we will be able to increase player influx and wait times will be greatly reduced,” Blizzard explained.
