The first performance of the tour took place at State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona; the city, changed its name for two days to “Swift City” in honor of the start of the singer’s tour.
With a sold out show of 69,200 people, the first date for The Eras Tour becomes the biggest female show in the history of the United States, surpassing Madonna herself.
