Very good the Swiss who wins the race by winning the last round while the blue did not go beyond the tenth place behind Brignone (second) and Goggia (seventh)
Nothing to do for Elena Curtoni. In the super-G final in Soldeu (andorra) the blue sees the specialty cup slip under her nose from a solid Lara Gut-Behrami who wins it for the fourth time. The Swiss rode the perfect race, she took a big lead just high up the track and then managed well in the second part losing very little from Brignone who had gone down before her and gaining a lead of 22 cents, which in one fell swoop worth the overcoming of the blue and the victory of the Cup. Regret for Federica Brignone who had done a good race playing all the chances of her recovery (she was fourth in the standings before the race). Her second place is the twenty-sixth women’s blue podium this year, a new record for podiums for the blue women in one season. The Norwegian Mowinckel is third, also in contention for the specialty victory. Many regrets for Curtoni who had her destiny in her hands but she was unable to express herself at her best. Two days to forget for her on the snow of Andorra after her fall yesterday which cost her third place in the downhill classification. Seventh place for Sofia Goggia and eighth for Marta Bassino. At 11.30 the men’s match with the Azzurri Casse, Paris and Bosca.
