Steam It is one of the platforms that best represents what the video game market has become. The digital format is becoming more and more dominant and its popularity, especially on PC, has skyrocketed in recent years.
However, this boom in digital means that on many occasions let’s miss the benefits of the physical format. Specifically, the printed manuals that came with the games… Do you remember them? And do you remember the blank section they had to take notes?
This feature is a thing of the past, but now it could return thanks to Steam with a digitized version… After the arrival of Steam Deck, Valve Keep working on adding new features that continue to give Steam value over the competition.

Steam… take note
What is this all about? Well, surely you have a PC or console game at home from a few years ago that has a manual. Usually, these manuals had blank end pages that allowed players to take notes on the game.
With the passage of time, all this has been disappearing, but according to what PC Gamer has revealed, a Steam update could see the platform add some sort of new note system to games.
This could allow players to take notes ahead of their games. For example, they could point out what material is missing for x reward or where a certain hidden collectible in a title can be found.
However, this is not confirmed at the moment. The information comes from Twitter user Pavel Djundik, known for being in charge of SteamDB, a website specialized in everything related to Steam and which has helped many users throughout its existence.
We’ll have to wait and see how this can be implemented, but of course It would be an addition as nostalgic as curious and interesting. Of course, we do not expect the update to bring paper and pen, but we will be attentive to know any information about it.
Would you like the releases in physical format to include manuals as cool as those of years ago? There are those who continue to rescue jewels from the past. A few months ago they scanned the manuals of all PS2 games released in the United States at 4K resolution.
As far as Steam is concerned, Steam Deck it also takes advantage of the new offers of the platform. Take a look at the 10 Steam offers for less than 7.39 euros in the spring sales that are a great bargain for your PC and Steam Deck.
