Star Wars Jedi Survivor It was planned to come out today, Friday, March 17. Finally, it was pushed back to April 28 at the last minute to polish up the game (and move it away from Resident Evil 4, incidentally), though we’ve been given a small treat today: a taste of the upcoming trailer.

The news of Star Wars Jedi Survivor, sequel to Fallen Order
This direct sequel to 2019’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, currently at an all-time low price on Steam, will continue in its development (as it should): a single-player adventure, mixing lightsaber-style action. soulslike, exploration and some puzzles and platforms.
But naturally there will be news, to begin with, it will only come out on the current generation consoles: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S and PC, and it is planned as the second part of a trilogy.
Respawn has learned from the previous installment and, to the delight of many, they are going to reinforce the metroidvania elements, adding more side missions and moments that you can only reach by revisiting planets.
For that, many planets will have a small open world structure, which some compare by extension to the plateau of the dawn of Zelda Breath of the Wild.
Finally, the story will be darker than the first: Cal Kestis has already formed a small family of rebel allies, but the young Padawan will be forced to make a very difficult decision, “where there is no right and wrong answer.”
Star Wars Jedi Survivor comes out on April 28, and if you want to reserve the Delixe digital edition, you can do so to also get costumes based on Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
