It has been almost five years since, with SoulCalibur VI, we had a major new release in the Soulcalibur franchiseand while it remains to be seen how long it will be before we have the next major installment in the franchise (especially with fighting games being as big as they are now), it looks like Bandai Namco does however have some plans related to the series in the works.
According to Nick Baker, co-founder of XboxEra, who recently stated on the XboxEra podcast that Bandai Namco is working on a remastered Soulcalibur. Baker suggests it could be a remastered collection of multiple Soulcalibur titles, but if not, he says a remaster of the original game is definitely in development. Baker also suggests that version will also be available via Game Pass.
It goes without saying that, given the huge critical acclaim that the early games in the series continue to enjoy today, a remaster of any kind would be met with a good deal of enthusiasm, even if, as is always the case with non-leaks. verified of this type, for the moment it is better to take the news with a grain of salt
