The animated series South Park has maintained a popularity that is constantly growing, despite having been released in the already distant year 1997. This is because it delivers in each episode, a humor in satire mode that respects nothing, pointing to any topic such as ethnic groups, gender, religion, physical ability and, of course, show business starring film or television stars. One of these figures is the socialite, businesswoman and actress Paris Hilton, who has mentioned that she could not help but feel deeply affected after being the subject of a parody in the series, which happened in episode 12 of season eight entitled “Stupid Spoiled W**** Video Playset”, released in 2004.
Episode that Paris Hilton refers to as grossing her out and where the creators of South Park mocked leaked celebrity sex tapes, including one featuring the reality TV star. As reported by the UNILAD media, Hilton spoke about the representation of him in that episode of South Park and how it affected his well-being in his new book, Paris: The Memoir.

Hilton mentioned that the promotional poster for the episode featured her face with the tagline “Watch Paris die!” and while she admitted that she didn’t mind the marketing approach, she explained that the use of the slur was applied to other female celebrities as well, which bothered her deeply. The episode also shows Hilton’s pet, a small dog named Tinkerbell, being graphically shot and killed, making the businesswoman feel “sick”. Despite having been involved in avant-garde media before, Hilton stated that she couldn’t understand where the idea of depicting the killing of an animal in this way had come from.
On the other hand, Hilton received criticism from one of the creative minds behind South Park, Matt Stone, for his lack of response to the parody. Stone claimed that Hilton’s lack of reaction was an indication of his “fucking up”, which the businesswoman found offensive.
