According to the police, the video was recorded when the six employees had visited an Orange match in Paris. A spokesperson does not want to say what exactly the six said on the images because of the investigation. No announcements are made about their functions either.
‘Completely unacceptable’
An investigation has been launched into the statements and involvement of the employees. That is what the police said today.
“As the police, we are very shocked by these images and statements, because we want to be a police of and for everyone,” says police chief of the East Netherlands Janny Knol. “The behavior of these colleagues, even though they were in private time, is not in keeping with this and is completely unacceptable.”
According to the spokesperson, the six employees have been denied access to all police locations as long as the investigation is ongoing.
