Kepler Interactivewhich published Sloclap’s Sifu and Ebb Software’s Scorn, announced revenue exceeding $50 million in its first year of operation. While the previously mentioned titles were “launched with enormous success”, Sifu set a new sales milestone, exceeding two million copies sold worldwide before its release on Xbox and Steam on March 28th.
Kepler has announced some new collaborations for 2023 and beyond, including an investment in The Gentlebros, the Singapore studio behind Cat Quest. The publisher will partner with the studio on future releases, providing “valuable experience in the mobile gaming industry.” A global publishing partnership with Sandfall was also announcedbased in Montpellier, whose first game will be an “epic single-player narrative adventure”.
In addition to launching on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam, Sifu will also receive a major new content update: Arenas. This update adds five new modes, nine environments and 45 challenges for a total of 10 hours of additional gameplay.
