Denpasar Sound – Coach Shin Tae Yong will ask for input from Islamic religious leaders or ustaz regarding the training center (TC) for the Indonesian National Team.
He did this because the players had to undergo centralized training during the month of Ramadan.
The main question for the coach from South Korea is whether the players are allowed not to fast in order to maintain their stamina during practice.
Shin Tae Yong explained that the players would have a hard time practicing on an empty stomach.

They also have the potential not to focus on matches during fasting because they have to work harder than usual.
“So I really have to coordinate first with the religious leaders and the players as well so I can focus on the day of the match, and the day before. Let’s focus on the match,” said Shin Tae Yong as quoted from Suara.com, Tuesday (21/3/2023 ).
Later Shin Tae Yong will ask the ustaz whether the national team players are allowed to change their fast on another day.
“That means we still eat without fasting, maybe the fasting days can be replaced after the fasting period is over,” said the 52-year-old coach.
Meanwhile, the U-20 Indonesian National Team will undergo TC until next April in Jakarta and South Korea.

This match will be held at Patriot Chandrabhaga Stadium at 20.30 WIB.
