The Italy Under 21 team takes to the field today in Backa Topola (Serbia) at 6pm against Serbia for a friendly match which is part of the (long) road towards the European Championship. The highlight of the season is scheduled from 21 June to 8 July in Georgia and Romania. Another friendly is scheduled for Monday 27 in Reggio Calabria: at 8 pm the Azzurrini will play against Ukraine.

In the matches against the Serbian national team, Nicolato’s Azzurrini won twice, then 3 draws and three defeats. Goran Stevanovic’s Serbia did not qualify for the European Championship.
