What games does Sonic Origins Plus include?
As you may remember, Sonic Origins debuted 1 year ago and offered an accessible and improved way to play the 4 classic blue hedgehog titles Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Sonic CD.
Well, SEGA was preparing a larger edition, Sonic Origins Plus, which it announced today and which will include, apart from the 4 aforementioned titles, 12 more SEGA Game Gear games to offer a total of 16 retro games from the franchise.
Standard Edition copies will retail for $39.99 USD and will feature reversible Sega Genesis-designed art, plus 1 20-page art booklet. As if that were not enough, all the Sonic Origins DLC will be included, which caused so much confusion.
In case you missed it: Amy will also be a playable character in Sonic Frontiers.
The digital edition will cost the same and will include practically everything in the physical edition, except for the game box and the art booklet.
If you already have the original Sonic Origins game, don’t worry, you can buy the game separately. Expansion Pack ($9.99 USD), which will improve the original version with all the new features of Sonic Origins Plus, including all the Sonic Origins DLC.

Best of all, among the news and games that the Sonic Origins Plus collection will offer is the addition of Amy as a selectable character in titles of the franchise.
According to the details, it will be possible to play as Amy in Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, 3, and Sonic CD. As if that were not enough, Knuckles will also be playable for the first time on Sonic CD.
