Sometimes you don’t need huge stories to captivate the general public. The Bear is a good example of this, with eight short episodes that managed to wow critics and audiences alike.
The Hulu series, which arrives in Spain through Disney+ Star, takes us to the city of Chicago, famous for its pizzas, its skyscrapers, the wind, the Bulls and its beef sandwiches.
Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) is a prestigious and award-winning chef who left the city to pursue a career in New York, but returns to the Windy City when his brother, Michael, tragically passes away.
Carmy’s goal is to bring her brother’s restaurant to a successful conclusion, for which she will “help” Richard Jerimovich (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), his brother’s best friend and manager of the venue.
However, running a kitchen as undisciplined as that of The Original Beef of Chicagoland It’s no easy task, and Richard doesn’t make things so easy with his tendency to cling to the past.
The only one who seems to be in tune with Carmy is Sidney Adamu (Ayo Edebiri), a young chef with little experience who aspires to grow under the wing of the illustrious Mr. Berzatto.
The Bear returns to Disney+ Star this summer
Season 1 ends with the perfect cliffhanger that will see the transition to a new project in the second season. Hulu did not hesitate to renew the serie to have new episodes and took advantage of the Oscars to launch the teaser trailer.
The reform of The Beef will be the big change that we will see in the new season, which will arrive on the streaming platform in Juneas indicated by this tribute to the cliffhanger of the previous batch of episodes.

Jeremy Allen White won Critic Choice, Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards for her work as Carmen Berzatto in The Bear.
It will be interesting to see if the return to Carmy’s frenetic kitchen in season 2 of The Bear maintains the human, comedic and dramatic touch of the first installment, or if they even dare to raise the bar.
