The Evidence of Fiscal Situation allows knowing the status of moral and physical taxpayers before the Tax Administration Service (SAT).
In periods of fiscal years, it is common for companies to request this document to stamp the data of the employees with the payroll receipts, among many other operations.
The certificate contains data on the identity, location and characteristics of the taxpayer. Besides, shows the economic activity, date of registration with the Treasury, regime and tax obligations, so it is important to have it on hand.
To obtain the document, you can directly attend a SAT module. Although it is also possible to get it through the internet with the efirma or without a password.
The efirma is the set of data and characters that identify the taxpayer when carrying out procedures and services online before the SAT. The encrypted file has the validity of a handwritten signature, but not everyone has it.
Therefore, one of the effective ways to obtain the certificate is to register in the SAT ID application. For this, it is important to have RFC, email and official identification.
Next, you must go to the “proof of tax situation” section, enter the RFC and enter the user’s email and cell phone number.
Subsequently, it will be requested to take a couple of photographs of the INE credential on the front and back. Passport or Professional ID is also accepted.
Finally, it will be necessary to confirm the user’s identity with a video that clearly pronounces the phrase or phrases that the application displays.
The document will be sent to the email address within a period of 5 business days. Likewise, when registering in the app, users must create a password.
In case of not being able to obtain the certificate through the application, it is also possible to use the password to issue the document from the official portal of the SAT.
